by *Syri*, 215 days agoWelp, we've arrived on Phoenix Throne. We're getting ready to sink our teeth in. It's a bit earlier than I'd planned on doing the next State of the Guild address, but I suppose it's as good a time as any, with all the changes!
As the majority of you now know, we are fully ensconced on Phoenix Throne now. We completed the 'official' guild move yesterday, where we re-established our Rank16 guild. Due to the prevalence of our heraldry on Avelorn, I've decided to wait a few days or a week etc to re-choose our heraldry... hopefully this time it will be a little more unique, though I am going to try to stick with something relatively similar to what we had originally. I am not sure yet whether we will be voting on new heraldry or not. We'll see how it works out, after seeing some of the current heraldry on the server.
We have several of our original members back, and we're looking forward to having the rest of our 'crew' back in action as soon as possible. Several others have, unfortunately, chosen to move on to other guilds. While I can understand this, and obviously have no animosity toward them for it (this is after all, a guild, not a prison!), we do wish them luck with their choices. They and their presence with us will be greatly missed, though we will look forward to working with them and their chosen guilds in the future.
With regards to our alliance, Dirge has made the move relatively unscathed (though some guilds better than others) and we are satisfactorily established on the new server. We look forward to whatever shenanigans we may get up to with them in the future!
As many of you may have noticed, we have unfortunately gone to a less balanced server, however - Destruction does outnumber us here on Phoenix Throne, and we therefore have our work cut out for us. PT as a whole is not used to the way we operate - there has been some surprise in fact, when they saw many of us Avelornian refugees out and about in the RvR lakes the day we transferred. The Phoenix Throne server as a whole will just have to get used to the idea that lack of level does not mean lack of skill or determination!
We are here to stay, and we are here to set our mark upon the server, and our footprints upon the backs of whatever destro we find!
Fight to the death! Let the brave live on in legend!

Phoenix Throne is where we'll go, as apparently much of the guild has already transfered, and it's where the entire alliance has gone.
Rita will be helping us out with the guild transfer on my toon; please be patient with us in reforming the guild; unfortunately due to mythic's abysmal timing on this, there is just nothing we can do until we get home Sunday afternoon.
Regardless, WE WILL MOVE THE GUILD. We will keep our rank and everything; we may have to get a new name however - that depends on whether or not there is already a Legendary on PT.
Thank you ahead of time for being patient with us, and we're sorry this is happening. We'll keep you updated if we learn anything more; unfortunately, all of this went down while we were still in a tin can rocketing through the sky. *sigh*
We'll play it by ear and see what happens.
